Stages of Change
The change can be huge or small.
A change can be around a relationship, a culture change in a business, a birth, a death, a workflow change, a household project, buying a house, or a major community project.
The transition is common, and the stages are the same. Key to success is not to get stuck in any one phase for very long, so it is important to have communication to deal with this.

Stage 2 - Anger
If I give money to an organization then this will go away.

If I let the city figure it out then…
If I do this then maybe it won’t happen.

I must sell my house because the road is going to go right by my place
There will never be any green space downtown because the city needs all the money it can get
If they do this I will have to move out of the city…
Gentrification is just always going to happen
Stage 4 -Depression
This study is happening ...so I need to be involved to let them know how it affects me and my neighborhood.
If “I” becomes a “we”, there is strength.
